Learning Pulse

Show visitors what students are learning — in real time

Learning Pulse is a live activity feed for your academy. Every video completion, quiz pass, enrolment, and course completion appears automatically — no one posts manually. Visitors see momentum. Students feel seen. Enrolments follow.

How it works

From action to inspiration — automatically

Learning Pulse runs in the background. You set it up once. It works forever.

01

A student does something

They finish a video, pass a quiz, enroll in a course, or complete one. The platform detects it the moment it happens.

02

A card appears on the feed

A timestamped activity card is created automatically — name, event type, course name with link, and thumbnail. No manual work.

03

Visitors see real momentum

Anyone visiting your academy sees what is happening right now. Real names (or anonymous handles), real courses, real scores.

04

Curiosity drives enrolments

A visitor sees "Priya passed the Brand Identity quiz with 94%." They click the course name. They enrol. No ads needed.

Four event types

Every learning milestone, automatically captured

Pedagio tracks four types of events and turns each one into a feed card. Zero configuration.

Deduplication is built in

Each event type is stored with a unique constraint per student. Rewatching the same video, re-submitting a passed quiz, or double-clicking enrol never creates duplicate cards. The feed stays clean automatically.

The philosophy

Inspiration, not jealousy. Evidence, not hype.

Most social feeds are engineered to make you feel left behind. Learning Pulse does the opposite — it shows real people doing real learning. No curated highlights, no follower counts, no sponsored posts.

A visitor who sees "12 students passed the UX quiz today" is not comparing themselves negatively — they're seeing proof that the course works, that real people are in it, and that joining is a natural next step.

No manual posts, ever

Nobody can fabricate activity. Everything on the feed is a real learning event, verified by the platform.

Reactions are warm, not competitive

🎉 👏 🔥 ❤️ — four positive emojis. No downvotes, no public dislike, no comment threads.

Students are shown, not ranked

The feed is chronological, not algorithmic. It does not surface top performers over others.

Login required to react

Visitors see counts. Only logged-in members can add or remove their own reaction. No anonymous engagement.

Emoji reactions

Students celebrate each other — with a single tap

Four positive emojis: 🎉 for big wins, 👏 for well done, 🔥 for on a roll, ❤️ for support. Every logged-in member can react. Reactions update in real time. Visitors see the counts and feel the community energy — without needing to log in first.

Four curated emojis only

No comment threads, no custom emojis, no downvotes. The four options keep the energy positive and simple.

Optimistic instant updates

Your reaction appears immediately when you click — the count updates on screen before the server confirms.

Counts visible to all

Even logged-out visitors see how many reactions each card has received — proof of community engagement.

Admin controls

Full control — one settings page

Enable it, restrict it, moderate it. Everything from a single Community settings tab.

Enable or disable the feed

Toggle Learning Pulse off and the page returns a 404, the sidebar link disappears, and new events stop being written. Re-enable it any time — only future events appear, no backfill.

Public or logged-in only

Public mode (default): anyone visiting your academy site can see the feed. Logged-in mode: the feed is gated — visitors see a login prompt instead. Good for private or paid academies.

Hide individual events

The moderation page lists every event ever written. Hide a specific card with one click — it disappears from the public feed immediately but stays in your admin list so you can restore it.

Student privacy

Real momentum, with the privacy your students expect

Learning Pulse respects your academy's privacy setting. You control whether students are shown by their display name or a consistent pseudonym — and that setting applies everywhere, not just the feed.

Display name mode

Students are shown by their chosen display name — "Priya S." or "Rahul Mehta". Great for academies where students know each other.

Anonymous handle mode

Each student gets a consistent pseudonym — the same handle appears across all their events, so engagement is still personal but real names stay private.

Snapshots, not live profiles

Event cards store the name at the time of the event. If a student later changes their display name, old cards are unaffected — no retroactive privacy exposure.

Academies that lit up their Pulse

Real results from real academy owners.

"We turned on Learning Pulse before our next cohort opened. Three people enrolled the same week after seeing activity from our existing students. No ads, no campaigns — just the feed doing its job."

Meera Joshi

Founder, CreativeEdge Academy

"I was worried students would feel watched. The anonymous handle mode solved it perfectly. The feed feels active and social but no one's real name is plastered on a public website."

Thomas Andersen

Online piano teacher

"My students actually got excited about it. They started friendly competition about who would be next to complete a course. It costs nothing but it drives real engagement."

Sunita Kapoor

Principal, Kapoor Coaching Centre
